WILSONVILLE — Wilsonville native Viktoria Fox now joins a group of elite women. The 24-year-old law school graduate has just been crowned Miss Oregon United States 2020.
Viktoria’s beauty wasn’t the only thing that won Oregonians over. Her intelligence and poise both played a big part. Fox is now eligible to compete at the National Pageant as “Miss Oregon” in West Palm Beach, Florida. This year’s event will be live on national television, featuring the top delegates from across the country. The event will take place on October 11-15th.
Viktoria has been collecting items for vulnerable community members and pets affected by the devastating Oregon fires. The donations will be disinfected and delivered to the Red Cross. She says “I’m so proud to represent our beautiful state right now and eager to give back.”
Viktoria’s platform is about America’s affordable housing crisis. Recognizing the massive growth in homelessness and the lack of affordable housing in our country, her organization “Revive The American Dream” works with local communities hit hardest by the crisis.
Viktoria says she hopes her success will show young Oregonians that they, too, can positively impact their communities and that anything is possible.
