The iconic speedster, the Flash has always been a fan favorite, and in 2016, he made his big screen debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, played by Ezra Miller.

Since then, Miller has appeared across films and TV shows, making fans even more excited about the upcoming film.

The production of the movie was originally set for 2021, but scheduling conflicts have caused delays until 2023 and it seems to be Ezra Miller’s last appearance as the iconic speedster.

Miller’s career was marred in 2020 by a video of them choking a woman. In 2022, they fell into hotter waters when they were arrested twice in Hawaii, accused of grooming a 12-year-old, and harassing a mother and her child.

A report from Deadline says that the studio has no plans of involving this actor in other DC projects after 2023, but it remains unclear what will happen with him or whether he’ll even appear in one more movie.

“There is no winning in this for Warner Bros. This is an inherited problem for Zaslav,” wrote Deadline. “The hope is that the scandal will remain at a low level before the movie is released and hope for the best to turn out.”

President and CEO of Warner Bros, David Zaslav had a plan to make DC into another Marvel power-house. However, with Miller’s behaviors running rampant in the company it is hard for Zaslav to keep up.

Reports are circulating that Zaslav hopes the scandals won’t blow up more than they already have, as he hopes to premiere The Flash in theaters in June 2023 without too many hiccups.

It’s not clear if Warner Bros. will replace Miller, put all Flash-related projects on hold or restart the entire DC Extended Universe after his latest antics.

Miller’s success as an actor may be hindered by their behind-the-camera antics. The Flash star has been getting a lot of support, but it is undeniable that their career will never be the same again.
