He was responsible for several consumer products, including Twitter’s Events feature.
Krishnan’s LinkedIn profile also reveals his contribution to the number of users on the platform.
He helped grow the platform by more than 20% in two years.
Krishnan’s experience extends to several tech giants, including Facebook, Snap and Microsoft.
However, it remains to be seen which functions Krishnan will work on in his second stint with Twitter.
Web3
Andreessen Horowitz’s interest in the social media platform is in line with the company’s optimistic Web3 outlook.
Web3 is the next level of the internet, where users can own digital assets, use crypto, and regain control of their data.
In May, Andreessen Horowitz invested over $7.6 billion in cryptocurrency and blockchain-related projects.
The company remains optimistic despite crypto funds dropping 40% earlier this year.
However, it remains to be seen whether Twitter’s presence will steer the social media company in a Web3-friendly direction.
